Aled and Delyth Wyn Davies – Cytûn national event organizers
Aled and Delyth have been working for Cytûn on a freelance contract since 2022, organizing the ‘Christian witness’ at the national events, namely the Urdd Eisteddfod, The Royal Welsh Show and the National Eisteddfod. Both of them have been part of that witness for over 30 years, with Delyth working for the Presbyterian Church of Wales, the Baptist Missionary Society and the Methodist Church in turn, and Aled through his work with the Council of Sunday Schools in Wales and the Christian publisher Cyhoeddiadau’r Gair. They live in Chwilog, Eifionydd, and Aled has also been a local minister there since 1992. Delyth’s roots are in Llandudno, and Aled’s in Llanllwni, Carmarthenshire, but through their work with the national events they have now come to know Christians in all parts of Wales. They are passionate about seeing Christians and denominations working together, locally and nationally to promote faith.
