Introduction

Elections are scheduled to take place in Wales on Thursday 6 May 2021.

All voters will be able to vote for a constituency and a regional member of the Senedd (Welsh Parliament).

Voters aged over 18 will also be able to vote for a Police and Crime Commissioner to cover their police force area (some foreign citizens who live in Wales are ineligible to vote in this election).

Some voters aged over 18 will also be able to vote in a local by-election on the same day.
