Cytûn: Churches Together in Wales invites applications for the role of General Secretary which will soon become vacant due to the departure of the current Chief Executive, Siôn Brynach.
The post holder will
• lead with a vision on ecumenism and public engagement by the Churches of Wales and will enable and bring forward the work programme and priorities set by the Cytûn Board of Trustees to serve the Churches.
• oversee support for the Covenant for Unity in Wales through the Covenanted Churches Commission.
• manage a team that delivers the work programme agreed by the board and the member churches
• be a Christian who understands and accepts Cytûn’s trinitarian foundation
• be able to communicate fluently in Welsh and English
